Mr Kirpa Ram Sharma is the Managing Director of Pars Ram Brother (Pte) Ltd. Established in 1937 and registered as a private limited company in 1973. His company has be a global trader in commodities and produce since 1901.
Mr Sharma holds a number of important appointments. He is a member of Tripartite Panel on Community Engagement at Workplaces, Ministry of Manpower. He is Advisor to the Arya Samaj Temple, Charkula Arts Academy, DAV Hindi School, Shree Lakshminarayan Temple and Bengali Society. At the same time, he is a Patron of the Arya Samaj Temple, Charkula Arts Academy, DAV Hindi School, Bhojpuri Society, DPS International School, Shree Lakshminarayan Temple. He is also President of Charkula Arts Academy.
Mr Sharma is Chairman of the School Advisory Committee Pasir Ris Primary School; Vice-Chairman of the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry; Secretary of Tong Eng Building Management Corporation; and Committee Member at the Hindu Endowments Board.
Mr Sharma's active involvement in the society and community is also seen through his membership in various organisations. They include the Singapore Indian Chamber Of Commerce and Industry; Singapore Business Federation; Confederation of Asia Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry; Sgsevaluate Trust Gold Seal, Arya Samaj Temple (life member); Bharti Bhuvan (life member); Bhojpuri Society (life member); Charkula Arts Academy (life member); Hindu Centre (life member); Hindi Society (life member); Shree Lakshminarayan Temple (life member); and Singapore Indian Association.
Mr Sharma is also licensed to solemnise marriages.
Mr Sharma has Degrees in Bachelor of Science and Business Administration. He is married with two children.
