Mr Jovin Hurry has spent the last 10 years studying, living and working in Asia and Europe as an analyst and facilitator in the field of business and sustainability. Jovin’s most recent engagement was with the European Commission, the executive body of the European Union, in Brussels, Belgium.
As an analyst, Jovin worked closely with key stakeholders and professionals on the best practices for small-medium enterprises in Industrial Technologies. Before joining the European Commission, Jovin worked as an analyst at the International Business Leaders Forum. At the headquarters in London, United Kingdom, he collaborated with the Youth Business International team to increase its global network of independent Youth Business Programmes. In addition, Jovin has handled a number of projects internationally. In Singapore, he researched on “Climate Change and Corporate Social Responsibility for the Cement Industry” and “Sustainable Development for Small Island Development States” for a UNESCO-supported educational initiative by ETHsustainability of ETH Zurich.
Jovin has also been through several training programmes, for example, he went to the United States for “Global Village for Future Leaders of Business & Industry”; Australia for the “Global Village on the Move”; and Italy for the “World Youth Service & Enterprise” and “Lucca Leadership” among others.
He has been a language evaluator for several meetings of Toastmasters Clubs around Singapore.
