Mr Simarnirvair Singh is a Senior Account Executive with Haymarket Media Asia Ltd. He graduated from Kingston University with a BA (Honours) in Journalism and Politics. He was the editor of the University’s newspaper and was part of a pioneer youth project for the Kingston-upon-Thames Council.
Prior to his studies, Simar served in the Singapore Armed Forces as a regular officer. He served two platoon commander tours, in which he realised that he had the ability to connect with his subordinates and positively influence them to prepare them for life after National Service.
Simar also holds a Diploma in Mass Communications from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and completed his secondary school education from St Joseph’s Institution.
Simar is interested in using the YSA platform to help youth from all backgrounds develop socially, academically and psychologically, thus preparing them for the infinite possibilities in the future.
He is interested in youth activities, sports and journalism.
