THINKING ALOUD!

The Progress of the Sikh Community in the Last 25 Years and Challenges Ahead

I have taken the liberty to highlight some key challenges facing us as a community and as part of the larger Singapore society. We have made significant progress since the arrival of the first group of Sikhs to Singapore. However, the challenges we face now are far more complex and require far greater resolve and the collective effort of the community. We have always been able to overcome our challenges. I strongly believe the third generation of Sikhs also has the ability and gumption to overcome the challenges we face today.
